This is a report which outlines a new expansive model policy on syringe service programs. This model policy aims to authorize the establishment of comprehensive syringe service programs that include medications for addiction treatment, HIV and viral hepatitis testing and treatment, and expanded healthcare and mental health services. It also aims to provide educational resources for the community and data collection services on syringe service programs.
