Model Expanded Access to Emergency Opioid Antagonists Act

This is a report outlining a model policy to expand access to opioid antagonists such as naloxone. The act aims to address the issues surrounding the equitable delivery of this life saving medication into the hands of those who need it the most. Strategies such as requiring health insurance coverage of naloxone and increasing access to naloxone in educational and correctional facilities are some of the suggestions listed.
